The assassination of US President John F. Kennedy (JFK) in 1963 still remains one history’s greatest mysteries. Part of the mystery is the “Babushka Lady” and her possible key to revealing the identity of the assassin. The Babushka Lady was seen taping with her video recorder at the scene where JFK was fatally shot. Every witness in the photo above was interviewed by the authorities shortly after the murder, however, the Babushka Lady was never found.

Police tried to track down the mysterious woman, in the hopes of acquiring the possibly vital footage that could help with the murder investigation. Unfortunately, to this day, the identity of the Babushka Lady has never been solved.

Hessdalen Lights: Alien Visitors, Or Just Natural Battery?

Located in the skies over Norway, this mysterious phenomenon can be seen multiple times a year. The Hessdalen Lights were most active during 1981 to 1984, a time which people from all over the world camped out under the stars to see the glowing lights appear. During this time, the lights appeared as often as 20 times per week. The lights are still visible today, but only about 20 times a year.

There is still no solid scientific explanation regarding the existence of the Hessdalen Lights, leading the public to gravitate towards alien theories. There are some unofficial reports of headlights and mirages appearing from out of nowhere. People have also claimed to see futuristic looking aircrafts and astronomical bodies.

The mystery of the Hook Island Sea Monster began on December 12, 1964 when Robert Le Serrec and his wife were relaxing idly off the shores in Hook Island, Australia when his wife saw the breathtaking, snake-like mass on the floor of the lagoon. Curious as to know exactly what it is, the couple took a few snapshots while approaching the “creature.” Robert and his wife said it resembled a huge, tadpole-like creature, estimated to be about 80 feet in length. The long, shadowed creature was not moving, so the couple assumed it was dead. They tried getting a closer look, but the creature started wriggling and opening its mouth, so the couple took the side of caution and went back to the relative safety of their boat. The creature then swam away.

What makes this mystery so powerful is that the photos were taken in 1964, decades before the age of Photoshop and digital imaging, giving the photos more authenticity

    The Solway Firth Spaceman Mystery

Jim Templeton didn’t really think he was going to be famous when he snapped pictures of his daughter and wife while vacationing in Cumbria, England on a perfect sunny day. His world-renowned photos have reverberated among conspiracy theorists and UFO believers worldwide and have long since become a permanent topic of debate when it comes to the unknown and unexplained.

    The S.S. Watertown Phantom Faces

Two of S.S. Watertown’s crew, Michael Meehan and James Courtney, were busy at work cleaning the ship’s cargo tank as it sped to New York in 1924. Unfortunately, they inhaled gas fumes and died. The two men were buried at sea as part of customary traditions during the time. It didn’t end there, however, the two men’s reflections followed the ship days after their sea burial. The crew’s reflections were so unnaturally clear that their Captain, Keith Tracy, reported it and was told to get photographs, which he promptly did.

Could there possibly be a satellite that has been orbiting earth for the past 13,000 years, that was put there by aliens? If you believe the Black Knight conspiracies, then the answer is yes. Some have tied it to the “long delayed echoes” and a radio signal that Nikola Tesla picked up in 1899, which he believed to be coming from outer space. The rumors of it being a satellite originated in the 1950s, when newspaper stories were published, attributing UFO researcher Donald Keyhoe, to claims that the U.S. Air Force had reported finding two satellites orbiting the Earth when none had been launched from Earth at that point.

The Cooper Family’s Unwanted Dinner Guest

Legend tells the story of the Cooper family, as shown in the photo, having this very first picture taken from the time they moved into their new house. Once it was developed, an image of a body falling off from the ceiling was quite visible. Further investigation failed to gather any more information on the story, which has lead many to concluding that it was merely a hoax and some form of photo image trickery. Still, the origins of the photo and when it first surfaced remains unknown to this day, but not as vague as the mystery behind the unwanted dinner guest.

Are There Pyramids On The Dark Side Of The Moon?

This was taken by Apollo 17 during its last flight towards the moon, and the very same picture was listed as blank on the flight’s photographic index. Though it appears washed out by exposure, a formation resembling mountains or great pyramids is prominent. Some strongly believe that NASA is covering it up. It is said that there is an exact mathematical layout and geometric formula comparing the figure to the pyramids of GIZA in Egypt.

Goddard’s Squadron Photograph Of Freddy Jackson

The year 1919 marks the death of Freddy Jackson, accidentally killed by an airplane propeller while he was on duty as an air mechanic under Sir Victor Goddard’s squadron. The squadron had a group photo taken two days later, and when Goddard had it developed, he was confounded with the impossible – Freddy Jackson was undeniably in the photo!

This jumped out at me for some reason. It is particularly sinister and creepy. It must be a hoax. I'm not a believer in ghosts.

Most ghost pictures can be pretty easily explained away as the result of double exposures or other trickery. But this chilling shot snapped by the Reverend K.F. Lord in the interior of North Yorkshire’s Newby Church has thus far defied any Earthly explanations, despite being examined by multiple experts. The shot shows a spectral figure wearing a cowl and standing by the altar, but Lord swears there were no people in the church when he took the shot in 1963. It’s one of the most famous paranormal photographs of all time.
