This is clearly where the leftist, loony conspiracy theorists hang out.

Yeah such awful people. Discussing things they aren't supposed to
from the wrong point of view, not the official one.

Good little Zionists on the other hand prefer places where children's little penises hang out.
So they can slice their knobs then suck them! :p

No. Israelis need to be punished for their crimes against Palestinians. Big difference!

Islam and Judaeism are BOTH very stupid, very backward batshit insane religions.
Both religions throughout history have been behind a lot of human cruelty and violence.
Both should be outlawed and not taught to
any more impressionable children.

People need to start taking direct responsibility for their own
actions and stop bringing god into it once and for all. ANY god!

France is one of the biggest supporters of the Islamist horde in Syria which definately have used CW.
Why did he not just say "I will strike at anyone who uses CW".
Why the caveat in only mentioning Assad.
Because he's yet another Neocon acolyte.

Israel drops chemical weapons on Palestinian children.

There is zero evidence that Assad has used them.

He has those S-400 waiting for the next time the terror state of Israel decides to attack Syria.

Zioterror pilots will be blown out of the sky :)

Zero evidence.

But there's lots of evidence of Israel burning children alive with white phosphorus.

That's what a terror state does

The Left (Guardian, Corbyn, French socialists etc) backed the "rebels".
it was the right from Marie Le Pen, Farage, Nick Griffin of the BNP etc backed Assad.
Here's Griffin in Damascus meeting the Assad Govt during the height of the conflict.

I'm not sure it's accurate to say Corbyn backed the 'rebels'.

He knows what's going on in Syria (regime change) but has to be careful what he says, given his position.

See his comments here. All the rest of the UK establishment took it as gospel that Assad was responsible for the gas attack and agreed with the US striking Syria, Neocon lapdogs that they are.

But not Corbyn

And as pat rabbit said on the tv the other day, "energy security is the first priority of the state".

The French thinks it still has the vestiges of an empire, like England and their common wealth.

France still controls the currency of 14 of its former colonies.

Has military throughout these countries and others
France's Military Is All Over Africa

And for all this military and monetary support !!!, get first dibs on any new reserves found in the 14 countries, by a french companies like Total.

Oil, gas, jihadism and militarization in the Taoudeni Basin, Mali | EJAtlas
In the 1970s, geologists became aware that the Taoudeni basin possesses considerable quantities of gas and liquid petroleum resembling the petroleum-rich provinces in Algeria, Niger, Sudan, and Libya, yet during the following three decades, it remained a ‘last extraction frontier,’ largely unexplored. During one of his numerous visits to the region, the former leader of Libya, Mouammar Kadhafi pronounced this premonition for the Mali’s Sahel-Sahara region, including the Taoudeni Bassin: “The North of Mali is very rich in mineral resources. If you don’t take care, one day the West will come and install themselves permanently in order to exploit your resources.” (Maïga 2015).

The French were the biggest backers of getting rid of Qaddafi, as he was a threat to their interests in Africa, and it allowed for them to show how needed they were to clean up the mess after getting rid of him left behind.

Mali: Is France's Operation Serval Anti-Terrorism or Pro-Business?
Since the beginning of Operation Serval in Mali, French president Francois Hollande has maintained that his country's military intervention has no other goal "than the fight against terrorism".
"France is not pursuing any particular interests other than the safety of a country that is a friend," Hollande said in January as he sent in troops to stop the advance of Islamist rebels towards Mali's capital of Bamako.
Overall, analysts agreed and said that Hollande's deployment of a 4,000-strong contingent to the former French colony, supported by the UN and the EU, was primarily to prevent the creation of a jihadist haven that could have destablised the whole of west Africa.
Paris was also seeking to protect the thousands of French expatriates in Mali's southern regions who would have been left at the mercy of Islamist groups already holding a number of French citizens hostage.
However Bamako's fall would have also jeopardised French and Western economic interests in the region.
"Invariably there are economic interests. However what France is trying to protect is not actually in Mali," said Dr Oladiran Bello, head of the Governance of Africa's Resources Programme at the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA).
France has a strong economic presence in west Africa, particularly in Mali's neighbours of Niger and Chad.

The untold story of Mali and Oil
...
Jihadists who overthrew Gaddhafi raided his weapons depots and joined with Al Qaeda. They are now spreading the Islamic revolution in neighboring countries and the relatively peaceful oil-rich north of Mali was a low hanging fruit for them. Indeed, France's intervention to expel Islamists motivated by security as well as Mali's potential resources.
...
France depends on oil and uranium from neighbouring Nigeria and couldn't possibly tolerate Mali to become another Afghanistan. Moreover France and Mali have had a defence agreement in place for years.

In short, France’s hawkish stance towards Assad and extensive involvement in Syria is linked to its ambitions as a great power, its international identity, and its desire to build reliable alliances with Sunni-majority states.
To understand why syria is important, just look at a map, how can i build a oil/gas pipline into turkey and so on to europe without going through it or lebannon.
France has a long history with both Syria and Qatar

Macron is just continuing on from Hollande, business as usual.
