Seems to be a lot of need for reassurance on this forum, compadre.

    strong bang of 'want'

I would't be one of your fans, pal, in fact you come across as a bit of weed to this poster.

    Nothing personal,mind.

RTE, a waste of space and time.

Terrible service that we are forced to pay for.

I agree The TV licence is just a tax,it takes away choice. Why should the government tell us to pay for a tv station. If we buy a washing machine they don't tell us that buying a certain washing powder is compulsory.

Flies! Open the doors and windows and they're in.

Keep the doors and windows closed and it's too hot and stuffy.

The Bastards need to be banned from Ireland!

Ben Sapiro, the hotshot lawyer. Can someone explain this to me? This guy is a complete shrill for the establishment. I mean it's so obvious, why can't everyone see this?

Someone tell me, why is this guy considered to be so intelligent?

He should come on here, I'll blow his arguments out of the water.

    Fucking shrill.

Only thing you'll blow out of the water, pal, is a bunch of logs when you flush the pan.

All you want here is take your new word "shrill" for a run out.

    Got you taped,bud.

If you equate telling the truth with trolling, then you are correct.

what I have presented is to the point and valid not unsubstantiated rubbish like you have produced in that post.

Take a look at yourself, shaft.

What the fuck are you talking about? Do your own research and don't be a lazy bastard. I won't hold your hand. I'm not here to be your teacher.

Speaking the truth, my friend, telling it as it is.

You should read the story 'The Emperors New Clothes' sometime, and pass it on to your fellow travellers.

Whats needed here is a contrary viewpoint to the kettle of shidt which choking this excellent site to a slow death.

Hopefully the management have the common sense not to let a bunch of wafters shunt it out of existance.

    Have some doubts though.

You keep saying that. It's an excellent site, it's an excellent site, it's an excellent site.

Contrary viewpoint? What? You want to play devil's advocate? Fine. Nothing wrong with that at all. It can be fun sometimes. Hell, I'll do it myself. But you have to present arguments to do it. That's the thing.

So you keep saying, about 247 times now I believe

FWIW, I disagree with the views of many on here on various issues, and I've said so, and given my point of view, in a debate-type scenario.

    You understand what debate is?

Try it, as opposed to your running commentary on how 'the rest of us' are killing the forum.

Max, I think there is a psychological componant at play here. This deference to status and authority. That might explain why quite a few of us feel so out of sync with the general order of society. For myself anyway, I can't say what's going on with others too much. I'm just a layman with this stuff of course.

Maybe you're right, FS. I believe plenty of folk from that other Irish political forum are unquestioning adherents to the mainstream narrative wrt many political topics, which might explain why many stay there - where they enjoy group reinforcement - rather than post here too, where they'll need to try explain the merits of their arguments, and counter those of others, all by themselves.

It seems Toby wants us all to be unquestioning adherents here too, before he'll engage..
