Some say we live in a world of fake news. So the question is simple.
    1. Did we land on the Moon
    or
    2. Did we not.

Certainly yes. The honour should have gone to the Soviet Union. It would have only for a very unfortunately accident with the Soviet rocket system - which has proved its superiority by now being the rocket system used by NASA. I believe that the next manned landing on the moon will be from the DPRK. Finally the flag of Socialism will fly on the Moon for all to see.

The presence of laser reflectors, (used to determine the earth moon distance precisely)
which any decent university science department can check for themselves are
concrete proof we went to the moon.

However, recently I've been having some niggling doubts due to this excellent rebuttal of NASA propaganda!

No it shouldn't. The Soviet N1 rocket design was fundamentally flawed, their strategy of using multiple small rockets on their would-be moon rocket made their design way more complicated than the American strategy of using one big Saturn 5 rocket.

The predictable result was that every one of their launches failed including their last failed attempted launch two weeks before the US successfully launched their manned moon mission with the Russians then abandoning any attempt at producing a rocket capable of a manned moon mission to this day.

Their last attempt at launching the N1 still ranks as the fifth largest man-made non-nuclear explosion the World has ever seen,

I'm not sure. I remember reading some "denialist" stuff on this subject and found some of it very convincing. I think there is room for reasonable doubt.

I don't believe for a minute we went to the moon, at the time it was a race between 2 superpowers and America could not lose at any cost.

    Main reasons why it couldn't be done;

    1. The US rocket was poorly built, landing craft poorly built.

    2. Van Allen belt.

    3. We have never been back, No permanent bases on the moon, no orbiting craft around the moon.

    4. If America had been to the moon they would stay there, they would mine for minerals that would make it cost effective.

    5. 1960's Technology was not capable of going to the moon.

And this has only just been posted on Youtube adding to the conspiracy

Decided to go back to what I'm best at and stop NASA bashing. This is from one of their Unmanned Lunar Orbiter photographs taken last year around December. It looks like some sort of building. Scale is 0.56 metres/pixel. So it's huge. SC1.

Seems pretty conclusive to me, even mentions that the lasters that point to the moon were set up before the Apollo manned missions.

As above, I dont believe we landed on the moon, one very good reason that stands out for me is the Van Allen belt.

Well, I haven't done any exhaustive research on the matter but my provisional view based mostly on my instincts lol for these things are:

Yes, the Americans went to the moon.

The feed, nevertheless, delivered to US/world audiences was staged. This guarantees that there's no depictions of astronauts dying horribly in the depths of space before a horrified live world audience in some accident which would be a totally unacceptable possibility in the context of the Cold War information struggle. Instead they choreographed it so as to ensure a propaganda victory come what may with a staged presentation of daring American frontierism and technological achievement and they didn't leave this flag ship propaganda to mere chance. Also the lunar landscape footage looks very sound stagey to me.

They probably still have mounted more missions to the moon in a clandestine fashion since the Apollo missions ended. The American Empire has a relentless thirst to dominate the planet and has no compulsion pouring big money into their military industrial complex. The idea that they would ignore a vital strategic frontier such as the moon in a scruple of fiscal fair play seems unlikely to me.

Jesus, I weep for our education system. Do ye think the Russians would be in on it to give the Americans their victory? How many thousands of people would be in on this? That's some amount of brown envelopes. Even Fianna Fail couldn't pull that off in their heyday.

Not in on it but foolish enough to believe the Americans achieved and won the race thus leading their programme to become defunct as the Soviets no longer had the motivation to reach the moon and would spend the money elsewhere.

The Russians would sound insane if they accused the Americans of faking this, that or the other. That's the simple answer to that.

I don't think getting to the moon is really that difficult. Curing baldness is difficult.

Surely any decent elementary school science department can google and see that the Russians landed craft on the moon and making your proof pretty foolish

    This is another weak reason.

People think that say 1000 people could not keep a secret, even 10000 people. They do not understand that to work on any type of sensitive project one must sign a non disclosure document. Break one of these, in a national security situation especially, and you go to a place called Leavenworth Penitentiary, forever.

Simple proof of this is The Manhattan Project where you had 100000 people and yet the secret was held.

As regards the Russians, who would listen to them, who reads Pravda.
The Chinese came out and said it was filmed in the desert and an obvious hoax.
Nobody listened to them, except Taidge's father, SeanTaidge Bocht an Amadan as he was known.
