'The Army Council of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army have claimed full responsibility for the bomb attack in Dublin this afternoon. An Active Service Unit of the Dublin Brigade of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army, acting under the instructions of the Army Council of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army, struck at the heart of the British Military Intelligence machine in Ireland. No civilians were injured in the operation, and the British Military Intelligence Officers who were the targets of the bomb attack, which took place outside the British Embassy in Dublin, escaped with their lives.'

There was a bomb attack in Dublin 4 on March 17th, which was directed at British Military Intelligence and several Media outlets issued Press Statements on behalf of the Army Council of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army, who claimed full responsibility for the attack.

If we weren't laughing, we would be crying.

On a serious level, the leadership of SF, FG, FF, Labour, the Socialist Party and the Socialist Workers Party all come from the Dublin 4 area. The vast majority of the Citizen Army came from the Dublin 1, 2, 7 & 8 areas:

There were some exceptions to the rule. The real Earnán Ó Maille was captured and injured in Dublin 4 in 1922, by members of the Irish National Army. He was staying at a safe house owned by Sighle Humphries, who later joined the Republican Congress, but returned to the main body of the Republican Movement and she supported Republican SF at the time of her death in April 1994. The only Citizen Army volunteer with an address in Dublin 4 was the Countess. History has clearly vindicated Seán O'Casey.

Yiz are still laughing at us..

I never said you were slow, or suggested that your mother dropped you on your head when you were a baby. That's not the reason I drew you a map. You never told me who or what you were laughing at. Are you laughing at Physical Force Nationalism? Are you laughing at Physical Force Nationalism, and the Irish working class? Please don't tell me they are inextricably linked like Siamese twins, because the leading lights of Irish history have moved heaven and earth to tell us other wise.

A map was necessary, just in case there's any Outsiders looking in, who may not understand the geography of Dublin.

In real life, maybe I was the real P O'Neill, and maybe I wasn't. In real life, Ren, I worked as a messenger boy for the Provisional Republican Movement, when I was a teenager.

On August 31st, 1994, a message was issued to the Head-Office of the monthly fanzine of the Real World, from the Provisional Army Council of the Irish Republican Army, calling upon all Active Service Units, acting under the authority of the Army Council of the Provisional Government to dump arms.

A subsequent Press Statement was released the following day, on September 1st, 1994, declaring the right of the Provisional Army Council of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army, acting in the interests of the Irish working class, to withdraw its support for the Provisional Irish Republican Army Government.

Following six months of sustained attacks against the enemy forces of occupied Ireland, the Continuity Army Council of the Irish Citizen Army declared a ceasefire, in accordance with the ceasefire declared by the Army Council of the Provisional Irish Republican Army, in July, 1997, followed by the ceasefire declared by the Army Council of the Irish National Liberation Army, and the Army Council of Óglaigh Na hÉireann, in August, 1998. As Ruaraí Ó Bradáigh once said: 'This was a military surrender, and not a political surrender, just like in 1916.'

That's it in a nutshell. Do you support the 3 Objectives of the Continuity Irish Citizen Army?

    1. A Declaration from the British State of its intent to withdraw all armed forces, and intelligence services from the occupied six counties.

    2. The immediate release of all Republican POW's.

    3. An All-Ireland Election to decide the future of the Irish Republic established in 1916.

The terms for a ceasefire are non-negotiable. The Republic will be defended to the last man, as far as the Continuity Army Council of the Irish Citizen Army are concerned.
